so speaking of the Millenium controllers, does the box add much to the price of them? I kind of plan to mostly grab boxed controllers from here on out, as most of them will be sitting on a shelf 99% of the time.

Not really, still should be sub $20. Most JP stores and collectors keep boxes as it is, so you typically will find boxed / unboxed at a very similar ratio, unlike US consumers.
Might add up to $5 per, but not much beyond that...

I picked one of these up in commemoration of the new year 2000 back in the day. I guess I must have ordered it from Lik Sang, I never considered whether it was released locally.

my favorite LE dreamcast controller by far was the wood grain one, man that looked nice.
