Once I saw an item description that said "Sega Saturn with four games" while the picture had the Saturn and four Genesis games.winds wrote:A few people have mentioned it already but it pisses me off so much that I feel I must mention it again, haha. When people put RARE in the item description when the item isn't rare at all. It's just old.
The other thing I can't stand is when some people put stuff like "Sega Dreamcast with 4 FOUR games!!!" when in reality theyre just selling the system with Shenmue which is 4 discs.
WWhat are your Ebay pet peeves?

Fake games annoy me. I picked up a couple fake Pokemon games without really thinking. Sent them back for a refund.
Emulator/ROM packs really irritate me.
I think stock photos are definitely the worst though. I mean anyone could look up the boxart to a game. They might as well not even post a picture.
Also when people have it as an auction, but with a BuyItNow for about 50p over the minimum bid.
EDIT: Oh, and "L@@K! L@@K!"

Forgetting to bid on something I want only to go back and find that someother git got for a pence, poorly described items, fake games, majesco sega games/pads not being labelled as such, every game and console is rare and so on and so.
I sold a couple of things about a year ago, one of them was a pile of Saturn magazines and disks. It was bought from some french guy, who also bought some players guides I was selling and moaned like hell about the postage costs. He wanted me to give him discount and cover the costs myself. The cheeky swine. He was having 4kg (or ~9lb if you like) of paper shipped across the channel, what was it going to cost, 50p?

Or when they describe the game in great condition with manual+case, and then you realize they cut the barcode out of the back of the Saturn game you just paid $25 for.
