Hello mah name is Mack, I started gaming in the sixth generation of video games with an Xbox and then I got a GameBoyAdvance. Then I sold them all cause I had'nt unlocked the power... the nintendo power! As soon as Wii came out I bought it then one fateful day i saw a game, but it was'nt just any game. It was a game the likes of which I had never seen before! A majestic cube-based game that was compatible with the Wii! I played it and SHABAM! A couple months later I got a Gamecube. As I explored more into the world of retro I bought console after console. The collection that I have today is Wii, Gamecube, Playstation2, Playstation, and a Dreamcast.

I'm still collectting and will go into the 5th and 4th Generation of gaming until my collection is complete.

Hello everybody! The name is Kremling93. I have been gaming since 1997 at the young age of 4. Started off with a gameboy color and I occasionally played my brothers n64 and snes. I still enjoy old school gaming to this day. The snes and genesis are my favorite systems. Sadly A lot of the systems and games I had as a child are all gone (my brother lost the snes with 30 games at college, I was so upset lol). I am in the process of building up my video game collection again. It's been difficult since I have been trying to save money for college but I always find some spare change to buy games with. Besides gaming I am a future chef in training. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies and I am going to culinary school in a month. I hope to enjoy this site to the fullest :).

Hello! I'm a 32 year old lifelong gamer, and have been actively collecting and retro-gaming for about a year and a half. I live in south central Wisconsin with my wife who tolerates, but doesn't fully understand my collecting habits. My gaming preferences are rpg, platformer , adventure, and shooters, but am willing to give anything a try.

Hello everyone! I'm __G__ (a.k.a Shindokaku or ~G~)
I've been gaming since... eh... Pokemon Red? Around there. Don't have an exact date. Anyway, I have recently been expanding my game library and adding various consoles.
The consoles I currently own are:
Atari Flashback 2
Sega Dreamcast
Sega Saturn
Xbox360
Wii
Gamecube
PS2
N64
SNES
and a few handhelds.

I also have a youtube channel which I upload gameplay videos to almost every day. Don't worry though, I won't spam about it.
I also feel like mentioning that I recently "de-yellowed" my SNES and Dreamcast a bit which was fun...
I hope that in my stay here I will learn about many new games to expand my collection.

Just realized I'd never introduced myself, so here goes.

I'm Chris, a game designer based in Las Vegas. Currently I'm working with Shuffle Master on their online platform, but I've worked previously at Petroglyph (was community manager for the Universe at War launch), Jet Set Games (Highborn designer), and I have a few other projects in the works as well.

Been gaming since the Atari 400, and I've just purchased a house and will be using the additions (two connected rooms) as a mini arcade and game room. I focus on a mix of arcade and console collecting, and will post up some game room pics as I make progress on the project.

Was a lurker here forever, but I've finally become a bit more active recently. Love the community, glad to be a part of the forum!

Hello! Another noob (and another Chris) coming out of lurkerdom...
Been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I was always fascinated by arcades as a child. So it was 1979 I think, when my dad bought an Atari2600. It satisfied well enough, I guess, for several years. Then we got a NES, and that's when I'd say I REALLY got into gaming. I was then earning my own money and eventually bought... TG16+CD, SNES, Genesis, NeoGeoCD (AES later), PSone... And being the typical pack rat, I still have these systems and most of the games.

Over the past 10-12 years though, I've slowed down some... Added a Dreamcast to my collection in 2001, GBA and Gamecube in 2004. PS2 (finally) in 2009, and a DS lite just this year. That's it... I've nothing against current gen systems. I just don't have the same passion and feel I've a large enough backlog of unfinished games as is.

I've been a big fan of just about every genre at some point. But nowadays, it's mainly Shmups and Racers...and mainly on the Dreamcast. I mean, I still love all my systems, especially the NES (nostalgia probably). But my current, longtime fixation on the Dreamcast can't be ignored...

Well enough of my ramblings... Looking forward to enjoying the topics on these forums!

Hey there,

New french speaking guy from Montreal's north shore, 30 years of age. I've been collecting video games for 4 years now, got a pretty healthy game room. I'm not collecting any particular platform, I just buy what catches my interest.

I enjoy organizing retro-gaming nights with some friends of mine, playing horrible games and a few excellent ones.

I hope to gain new knowledge here, I've been reading racketboy articles for a few years now but I never actually registered.
