Added to hyper-linked list.
I won't be getting at this one for awhile, but good to see it here.

Getting a little better.
Damn that boss with the rotating gun sentries. Kills me once every time.

Re: Zero Gunner 2 - Hi Scores
^Nice Score, Donnie.
There must be an extend at 400K i'm guessing?
I had not played this recently. When I originally played it years back I didn't think it was anything like the other Psikyo games I had played at the time (Gunbird 1 and 2).
Now, after playing Gunbird and Dragon Blaze recently, the same themes keep recurring and I freaking love it. The alternate first 3 stages and the bosses getting harder depending when you get at em' - so good.
I forgot how beautiful this game was too - so so impressive.
For those who have not played this one - give the youtube vid a run. It is such a unique shmup, yet not as complicated as it would seem. The angles in this game are so cool. The guys who can master the rotation and have it become second nature really excel at this one. It can be so easy and so frustrating one second to the next.
My score to get me on the board:
393,100 - mjmjr25 - 1-4 - Mokum - DC-J

Awesome! I didn't think anyone else would be in on this.
I do believe you get the extend at 400,000. I'd have to check to be sure.
The first time I played it, I was stunned. Definitely unlike anything else I've played.
Hey, you don't have the difficulty on arcade, guy.

pierrot - stage 1-5 - Hokum - 545,200 - DC

Probably no one else playing this one now. I'll throw my hat in the ring, anyway.
Finally got a score that I'm relatively satisfied with. So close to that extend at 600,000, though.
Wasn't really actively trying to dethrone anyone, but--uh, bonus? Not entirely sure how I even survived that first wave in 1-5.

Good score, man.
This is definitely one of those games that has a sharp jump in difficulty once you get so far. Stage 5 is tough.

Thanks. Sorry about knocking you out of first so narrowly....
I love me some Psikyo, but in a lot of ways I feel like they're more brutal than cave shmups. Stage 5 is total insanity for me when I'm on one credit. I feel like I'm about to have a heart attack at that point. The developer's replay makes it looks so damn easy, though.

I agree; Psikyo definitely knows how to make some games that'll deliver a swift blow to your ego.
Don't worry about overtaking me; now it just means I gotta start playing this again.
