Post by fox099 »

I just picked up einhander today for 5 bucks and was wondering if it is worth playing. i like the occasional 2d shooter but im not hardcore. was this a waste of my money?

$5?! Damn that's a steal. I had to buy the import version a while back, because US copies were going between $40 - $50. It's a great game.

Five dollars is a great deal. You may as well play it. It is widely regarded as one of the best shoot 'em ups of all time.

When you get bored, sell it for forty dollars.

Why don't you just play it to decide whether it is worth playing?

Yes, it is awesome.

I'm a pretty casual shmup player and even I love the crap out of Einhander.

the weapons sytem in Einhander is so cool. i love the "light saber." It's one of the best shmups out there, and probably my favorite on the PS1. I got lucky too and picked up a copy for 6 bucks a couple years back.
