Believe it when I see it but that seems like a solid number.Launch window is November 18 through the end of next March. More than 50 games coming during that period.

Not necessarily. Ninja Gaiden II was published by Microsoft, and then Tecmo-Koei published a version of it on the PS3 later. Granted, it's one exception in a long list of games that stayed console-exclusive to the 360, but it's not like it'd be unprecedented.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:It's published by Nintendo, so it's pretty safe to say it will be exclusive indefinitely.Metal Militia wrote:so Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive? 8GB and 32GB respectively, what the hell? That's tiny!

TVii is interesting. I am wondering how it interfaces with live tv.
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
It's a lot more than the 512MB the Wii has built in.Stark wrote:8GB and 32GB respectively, what the hell? That's tiny!
I think the expectation is that users will supplement that with SD card or USB HDD storage. In some ways, kind of odd - particularly considering that they'll be making digital game sales at least a possibility - but not that far removed from what Sony has done in the mobile space I suppose.
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
I suppose if the USB storage isn't limited to Nintendo propreitary storage options that would be fine. I though the size was particularly hilarious in light of the anouncement of the DVR functionality in Nintendo TVii. 32GB for a DVR? That won't get you far.isiolia wrote:It's a lot more than the 512MB the Wii has built in.Stark wrote:8GB and 32GB respectively, what the hell? That's tiny!![]()

Wait. The US Wii U costs 350$? Damn that's expensive. Here it's going to be about 250€ for the cheap model (as much as the original launched for), but retailers can set the prices, so some will probably sell them for a bit less like they did with the 3DS

250€ is about $322. The $350 is the price point for the premium model. You're the one paying more.ZeroAX wrote:Wait. The US Wii U costs 350$? Damn that's expensive. Older. Not wiser.
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
I definitely want that black one, better looking and it's hard drive isn't a complete joke.
Guess I'm going to have to get an HDTV if it comes with HDMI cables standard. So 350 for the console, probably another 50 for the pro controller, 200 for a small HD tv, plus games at 60 dollars each. Damn.
