hyper x modchip

has anyone heard anything good or bad about this chip i was thinkin about makin a mame cab out of an xbox with doa3 and ggxx as well on the hard drive

Try not to talk about pirating current generation games. But I'm sure Racket has no beef with MAMEing an xbox.

I turned mine into a emulation box for old consoles a while back. It was before I had a computer in the living room, so this was cheaper. I also used to for music, movies and all kinds of stuff. I used the Xenium chip... they were cheap and worked very well. But then the last time I modded a XBOX it was before they released the solderless model 6 chip (the boomerang looking one). I always had the older rectangular one... damn them for releasing the newer one... I had so much fun hacking the chip up for model 6s.
