I'm not a huge NFL fan, so forgive my ignorance about anything. But from what I've gathered in the mainstream news: There's not gonna be a 2011 NFL Season, correct? And this is because the players are striking for a raise, correct?

To me, this seems like a crappy thing to do in today's day and age. Everyone is hurting for money, including the government even. And a bunch of NFL guys that have their dream job and make more than any of us probably want a raise and are striking? Come on.

And maybe I'm naive, but to me it seems like the NFL could easily fix the situation. Why not just give a bunch a hungry college players a chance to show what they've got? Don't cater to the greedy SOBs.

No, what's happening is that the owners want more money, and the players want to keep their share that they're getting, along with better benefits.

Millionaires are fighting with billionaires over millions. No one gives a damn. We just want to watch some football.

First sunday of the NFL season!!!! I'll be watching DA Bears take on the Colts. I'm really interested to see how Andrew Luck fares in this game. I think the Bears should win and will win. BEAR DOWN!

TV GUIDE = COLTS vs. BEARS

MY cable provider = REDSKINS vs. SAINTS

Jerks. I put on Bears boxer shorts, t-shirt, hat, and even my Dog is wearing a Bear's handkerchief.

Direct ticket, here I come.

So far today has panned out as I thought besides the Skins game. Why people were sold on the Bills is a little bit puzzling, and I think the Browns can pull this one out. I actually prefer when I'm suprrised even if that means I lose money, but I bet ya the 4pm, est games will shake things up a bit.

Hopefully.

Christ, Terry looks more and more like Peter Boyle ev-ah-ree stinking day, and howie long is on drugs. Seriously, I'm not trying to be a wise-ass, howie is one something. He is sweating bullets, his speech is slurred, and his body language is all over the place. I expect that from Terry, not howie.

Good call on Bradshaw=Boyle. I'd love to see him sing "Putting on the Ritz."

I stopped watching pre-game shows a few years ago. With the exception of Berman and Co. on ESPN, I can't really stand any of them. I only tune in if there's a specific interview I am anxious to see, and that doesn't even happen every year.

Truth: I sing "PUTTIN ON DA RIDZZZ" when I lose my wife in a mall (she's like catwoman). She'll run from Macy's to Sharper Image to shut me up.

I watched the fox crew a bit during half time and they didn't disappoint with their amateur act.

Look. I do like the "guys hanging out" theme. Nothing wrong with that. But these guys are simply so worn out to the point where I feel worried for them (besides Brown, who has yet to prove that he is not immortal).

Ugh, Philly barely squeaked out a win over Cleveland. Vick looked like garbage; he better get his shit together, 'cause Foles looked really good in pre-season.

Damned overtime on the Jags Vikings game. I thought the Jags were gonna win with that perfect final touchdown and 2 point conversion >:(

Bears got a nice win. When Cutler threw that interception to Jerrell Freeman for a touchdown on the second possession of the game, I thought it was going to be a long game. Finished the game with 333 yds and 2 touchdowns when it was all said and done.

Can't get too excited about this win cause the Bears play the Green Bay Packers in four days at Lambeau.
