I forgot to mention, it's really 220 dollars thanks to shipping. I can get TERA and The Secret World for 90 bucks (And TERA would be in it's retail collector's edition) and still manage to play it 1 or 2 months for 130

And GW2 is free online forever. So what's your point?

And though reviews are never to be the bottom line, it is worth noting that GW2 is far more acclaimed than other of those two games.

Right now... it's cheaper for me to get those 2 games than getting GW2. However, I will get it after I upgrade my PC.

NA servers for Tera are going down from 11 to 3 on the 18th of this month. Korean servers have already been cut from 35 down to 4 I think (took a couple rounds of merges last year).

The Secret World does seem interesting in terms of setting, but the actual game doesn't seem to be. Kind of one I wish wasn't an online game.

Not like GW2 is perfect either, but I do think there's less at stake with the buy-to-play model.

I don't think there is a perfect game out there. I question whether perfection exists. BUT GW2 has been amazingly fun so far. Can't get enough.

I have to ask this but how is the framerate?

This article seemed to be fairly accurate to me, based on the machines I've seen the game run on.

I get 30 - 50 fps on low settings at 1080p on my Zenbook Prime UX31A. Not amazing but pretty good considering my system. 1.7GHz i5 w/ HD4000. Also consider that my HD4000 is 30% underclocked because it is in an ultra low voltage system.

Yeah I don't have framerate issues. Right now the game does crash for me, my buddy's had it crash on his PC a few times too, although it's kinda rare overall.

Secret World and Tera both are doing pretty poor. GW 2 is more expensive then both of those games for a reason, lol. It's F2P forever, and you get a NEAR guarantee the servers aren't going down anytime soon.

I actually have played Secret World and Tera and I do like both, but I have a thing about playing MMOs that aren't likely to be standing a year or two down the road.
Huge RPG fan.
