Things to tell people who think retro games suck?

I'm like a Jehovas witness. I ask 'em if they've ever heard the good word from [insert title of game that would catch their fancy] and convert them.
More often than not people are afraid of what they dont know, so they make fun of it for security purposes.

Ultimately the only way to keep the retro gaming community alive. Is to procreate and bring up your offspring on Sonic The Hedgehog, or Super Mario....Possibly Contra, or Shinobi if you have some badass kid.

I agree that a game is a game. Period.

Also, don't they listen to any old music? Watch old movies? Read old books? Almost all teenagers, even young ones, like stuff like Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Catcher in the Rye, etc. Why not games?

It's just immaturity on their part, sounds like to me. You like what you like and I say good for you.

I got so sick of them bashing me i made a whole new email and just kept my real friends, everyone else can screw off. I kept my internet friends which i also share interests with.
