I've gotten a lot of my games at the Armada Flea Market. Armada is a small(one blinking red stop light)town in northern Macomb County. So not exactly around the corner for you, but it's still an old school open air flea market. I don't go there as often as I used to and last time I was there the vendors seemed to have a better idea of what games were worth, but I think that might just be a sign of the times. Then again you never know when you'll find a hidden treasure there!

If you're looking to go to destiny games in canton you're gonna be disappointed. They have some stuff but it's way overpriced.

I have to disagree with you there. Destiny Games has a ton of games that are super cheap, and in fairly good condition. Sure, some of their stuff is more expensive, but I've found quite a few excellent deals there.

My favorite local game shops are Destiny Games in Canton and Time Travelers in Berkley. Destiny Games has a large, easy to browse selection, and you can find plenty of good deals, although condition can vary widely. Time Travelers has more games in good condition, but browsing is more difficult, since everything is behind display cases.

The only flea market I've been to is the one in Taylor. I found a few decent deals there, but the condition of the games wasn't the best.

Haha I know Armada. I have a few friends from Capac, and I'm currently in Richmond for the evening. I have family in Mt. Clemens. I missed the flea market, I wanted to go though. I'll check it out next year!

As for Canton, I'll give Destiny Games a shot when I roll through next!

At Taylor Town or Gibraltar? With Taylor Town the guy in the back seems to charge a bit more, but I've had pretty good luck with everyone else there.

bump. with the weather getting nicer (hopefully... though it just snowed today ) it's flea market season. I'm from Ann Arbor so it might be quite a drive away to Gibraltar and Dixieland in Taylor. Are there any suggestions for flea markets near Ann Arbor? I've been hitting up thrift stores and found a couple decent finds but nothing to cry home about, so let's get the ball rolling on this thread again (for my sake!)

That reminds me of the time when I woke up super early for a garage sale that I saw on craigslist that advertised Super Nintendo games being part of the sale. I got there 10 minutes early and caught the sellers setting the tables up. I wait a few moments to get out of the car and there was only one SNES game for sale, which was NHL96....

There were a few Sailor Moon VHS tapes for sale for 50 cents though.

I'll have to try my luck for other garage sales this time around.

I hunt at Studio 28 in Grand Rapids and a flea market called Berley Park near were I live I usually find good games although Berley is only open 5 times a year and the first one is memorial day That's far away from Ann Arbor though.
