Whats the most you have paid for a game?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I think about 65 for triggerheart excelica. I bought Soulcalibur 4 special ed, but it was a gift for someone else.

Since the majority of my purchases have been either in bundles or for dreamcast, game prices tend to stay pretty low. I may break and spend 90+ on shikigami no shiro because i want it i want it i want it.. but thats a whole other problem.

... You would think with so many ppl in this forum, someone would've broken and spent over 100 on radiant silvergun.

Put down $60 for Dead Rising the day it released.

And you know what? Best week I ever spent on a couch healing up from surgery.

Well... technically speaking it's $500 for a mint Super Dodgeball for the Neo-Geo MVS (the price plummeted years later). I did, however, buy a Neo-Geo cab specifically for Super Dodgeball... so it could be said I spent $900 for it.

I have copies of Radient Silvergun, Dracula X Rondo of Blood and Under Defeat LE all of which were at least $100. I have a few games in the $80 range as well.

I hate to be a jerk, but I bought that game at a rental store for 5 bucks complete.

But I made up for it Shenmue 2 65$
Samba De Amigo version 2 45$

One day I'll buy ikaruga...

Wow, you are the first person that I know likes that game besides me, all I get are puzzled looks from friends when I want to play some VS.

Super Dodgeball is always a good bit of fun.

For me it would probably be SCUD Racer - but thats cheating since it was a two seater and I only owned it for a couple days. As for actual games Ive been very lucky and the most I have spent was $65 for Mario RPG (I still think it was worth every penny).

Recently the only new game I bough was the Persona 3 boxed set new for $49.

I paid $59 for Shining Force 3, $57 for Guardian Heros, and $52 for Dragon Force which i thought were all pretty fair prices. Damn Saturn is expensive though. I still want to pick up some more import shmups....but i don't have 60-120 bucks to spend on each game. :?

Oh yeah, I love it. That was my gift to myself for graduating. I promised myself that I'd buy a cab and a copy of it. And so I did.
