What was the last movie you've seen?

What about the myriad of terrible sequels to Land Before Time?

lol yep. That's one of my pet peeves, actually. Movies that are multi-quel series. I get irritated when I go into a store's movie section and I see stuff like:
HOSTEL 8
Land Before Time 13
Paranormal Activity 4
Air/Hockey/Baseball/Space/Horseracing Buddies 106
Etc. It just irks me to see that crap.

you probably shouldn't let the existence of product bother you. Some people enjoy "crap." If you don't, it costs you nothing, pay it no mind.

I don't mind James Bond movies, as they all have decent production values, and such. Too bad we never got another Bond after Die another Day.AppleQueso wrote:How do you feel about stuff like James Bond?

If it makes money, push push push. Does DESPICABLE ME need to have a sequel and a spin off movie? Nope, but it'll make money and some kids will be pleased as punch.
But then there is CHRISTMAS STORY 2, who I don't think anyone will like and tank.

I usually draw the line at straight-to-video stuff. Seeing a franchise you like reduced to an embarassing no-budget slopfest (which pretty much all straight-to-video sequels are) is never fun.
Are there any straight-to-video sequels that are actually genuinely good?

I like the Hellraiser movie that takes place in space and there's a pretty decent Puppet Master sequel (That's actually better than any film in the series) but I can't remember which one it was.AppleQueso wrote:I usually draw the line at straight-to-video stuff. Mulan II is pretty decent too.

Depends on what you consider good.AppleQueso wrote: Are there any straight-to-video sequels that are actually genuinely good?
And although it isn't a sequel I always thought that AIRBORNE was straight to VHS. The trailer has a date, but I don't think it actually had a theatrical release. Puzzling.

Youtube is blocked here at work but is the Airborne you linked to the one with the roller blader guy that moves to Chicago or something and lives with his cousin played by Seth Green? Also one of Jack Black's first movies?
