I think it is cheating. The Collecting Gods can and probably will punish you.

I got my JP copy wicked cheap. ;)
ya i think a year ago i paid like $13 shipped from japan for mine complete with spine and regi, unfortunately it is the saturn selects version, but now checking ebay man have the prices gone up on that one. if you are looking to save money by importing the Japanese versions probably should do it soon as most people have figured out that alot of the jpn versions are so much cheaper and are opting for those.

Saturn emulation through SSF has been practically perfect for years.
And you can do PC video out to the TV if your video card supports it. Add a USB Saturn controller and you're golden~
