Bingo.

I'm not a Mutlicade kinda guy, but I'll grant you spinners are fun! Neo-Geo.com and KLOV are good sites to get some knowledge.

Well I got the MVS cab to Jamma converter and it lined everything up just like it should.
I ordered it from http://www.jammaboards.com/ they have great service and I will probably do business in the future with them. Here is how it looks installed in my cab.

Awesome man, this is exactly how you learn as you go! I went through this earlier this year on an Astro City.

If you have the space, I do recommend a few different cabs. It just makes things so much easier. Use your Neo one for Neo stuff and keep it simple.

Get a 6-button, preferably a candy cab of some sort (they look sweet, and the buttons/stick are generally better for fighters/shooters than HAPP) for CPS2 stuff, beat 'em ups and hori shooters. You can make it so you just have to switch a few connections to get stuff like PGM and Atomiswave (5-button stuff, aside from some specialty crap like MK and the like) going. Then consider getting another for vertical games. Yeah, that's three units, but it would set you up really nicely and avoid the headache of changing connections, being able to properly play stuff like vertical shooters, etc.

So, in total, you need:
-1 Neo Geo cab for Neo stuff (make SURE you buy Windjammers/Flying Power Disc!!!!!)
-1 candy cab for vertical shooters and stuff like that
-1 candy cab for all other horizontal stuff
-1 pinball machine at least, to play pinball on
-1 foosball table
-1 hockey table; the one with the plastic dome over it
-1 pool table
-a fully stocked bar
-a jacuzzi
-a sauna
-numerous sexy ladies

Yea that would cover my want list.

The wife does love air hookey too.

Any way, I did pick a Marvel vs Capcom 2 Big Blue back in April (I sold the MvC2 cart to cover cost at the time). I still need to do some work (flyback that I still haven't got around to), then there will be a thread on it. It would not fit in my house so it had to go my moms, but hey all the grand-kids will love it.

Next on the list is a Vertical cab of some sorts, unless I get a good deal on any MK game or Light Gun cab.

Not Air Hockey, this hockey:

Get a candy cab like an Astro City. They allow screen rotation:

That way, you can play both vertical and horizontal games while you wait to get your second candy cab. :P

I knew what you meant, but I need air hockey too. Wife's orders, I won't argue.

A candy cab is ideal and I will probably go see Ken at The Game Room when the time comes. I would still jump on an old vertical woody if the price was rite.

Breetai, its typically called bubble hockey. Id love one, but they are exceptionally rare where I live.

Bryan, how well has that Jamma to MVS adapter been working for you? Ive been eying one since my fiance loves a couple old beatemups. Ive been debating a 1xx in 1 cart for the Neogeo for a while - since we want Stakes Winner 2 and SNK vs Capcom, and itll be cheaper to just buy the multicart than boots of either...

The adapter is great, seems well made. It took a little bit to get to me, they said the adapters are custom made in house (no cheap china crap). Sorry if that offends any one.

As for the multicart....I sold mine, to many choices for me. Also some games did not work right or at all. I have decided to go the original route and spend a lot of time with each game. The first cart I bought beside what I got with the cab deal was a SvC kit and I played it for two months straight every day. Then I got Metal Slug.
