What was the last movie you've seen?

Oh man, I should have paid attention that Seven Samurai was 3 1/2 hours long before settling in. Great movie though.

HIT AND RUN

Even Brube couldn't save this movie, in fact this movie pissed me off. I was actually angry while watching this. Someone who shouldn't have got the chance of a lifetime; millions of dollars to make a movie with close friends. And what does he do? He wastes every penny and fails to make a semi-decent film. It's like one of those assholes who wins the lottery and manages to go bankrupt in a year.

Don't plan on rooting for anyone (besides Brube) in this film. Every character is an obnoxious jack ass. Don't hit this movie, run from it (yes, that wasn't clever but neither is anything about the movie's title or the movie itself).

Captain America: The First Avenger

I've never read a Captain America comic, though I may own a few. Back during my Marvel reading days in high school and college I was more into X-Men, Deadpool and Spider-Man. So I couldn't evaluate this movie through the eyes of a Captain America geek, or even an Avengers geek. I know basic info about Cap and the Avengers and that's about it. That said, I really enjoyed this movie. Everything was well done from the script to the performances. There was the occasional very obvious special effect. They weren't all as seamless and well integrated into the movie as they could have been, but it didn't ruin the experience. I was especially impressed by the action sequences. They truly portrayed what an absolute bad ass Captain America really is.

So I've seen all the Avenger movies now except the Hulk movies, but I'm not too concerned about those. Now I'm just waiting on The Avengers to hit blu ray so I can FINALLY see that movie.

My feelings about Captain America can be summed up by how I loved the first half, second just kinda felt jumbled to me and it sorta pittered out and ended out of nowhere. I wanted to really love the movie but... blegh.

It's not bad at all, I'd watch it again for sure (I plan to do a marathon type thing once Avengers hits blu ray this month), but yeah.

It was so rushed through production it didn't stand a chance. It was supposed to be a tribute to HST, but never came across as that. Not even sure if Depp wanted to do another HST movie, as he doesn't seem too enthusiastic in TRD.

Shame, it's a great read.

YA I still need to read the book. Im a fan of hunter. As for the movie I heard that depp wanted to do it a long time ago of course being 15 years or so later they were gonna get another actor but being as they were such good friend he wanted to do the movie.

Also no one can play hst like johnny depp can!

Im not as huse on movies as i once was due to the fact that movies now-a-days seem kinda shitty. Not all of them but alot of crap comes out of hollywood. I am tho so badly looking forward to Dumb and dumber too.

I have been waiting for a classic style jim movie for a long time so I hope it kicks ass! I'll be there opening day. The first one althoug alot of people don't like it was comic genius. So many years later and I still keep laughing and quoteing line's not to mention find new jokes.

Yeah, I paused to go refill my drink right after they had the group and were heading back to the village and was surprised it had been an hour already. Then intermission popped up and it had been an hour and 40 minutes. 207 minutes total.
