Labor Day weekend found me wanting a new game to play, and I decided to try Gamestop to see what I could get on the cheap. They had two games I have been meaning to get for a while: Mortal Kombat and Dante's Inferno for PS3, both 'new' and both on sale for $20. They were both also the DLC packed versions, Komplete Edition and Divine Edition respectively.

Upon further investigation - opening to play both of them.

-"New" MK was obviously in re-packaged plastic and had no instruction manual whatsoever. I highly doubt this is the norm even though it's a later released DLC packed version.

-"Divine Edition" Dante's Inferno - well the box was at least. Turns out the manual and disc were just the regular game version and had no codes or anything about redeeming DLC. This one was even shrink-wrapped..?

Mortal Kombat doesn't come with a manual anyways, however new. Well, the vanilla edition, I know.

Love my Gamestop. Thanks to them I'll have the entire Shin Megami series by the end of the week. I hit a speed bump with one of the managers who simply would not ship out Nocturne, but he did agree to bring the game to a manager's meeting and pass it to my local store's manager.

In my experience, you tell the clerk "I really appreciate your help" they'll bend over backwards for ya.
