Any good Gaming cons in Dallas?

Post by SamuraiMegas »

I looked around the web but I don't see any. Did I just not look hard enough (went 3 pages in google but the started linking like E3 and stuff) or s there not any? I know about DCC but that is a comic con that has some dealers with some games but no dedicated booths there and I also know about quake con (I went and it sucks).

It was some people standing around booths playing games. There was two booths that sold stuff and it was stupid overpriced.

What do you expect from a competitive gaming tournament? It even has Quake in it's title, so isn't it kind of obvious? You're not likely to get much out of it if you aren't into eSports and you don't bring your own computer with you. Well, atleast there's the John Carmack Keynote and the panels.

Screwattack Convention is coming back this next summer! I had a blast at SGC 2010 and hope I get a chance to go back there next year.

These pics sum up the awesomeness.
