Nope. In fact I had to Google "dlp rainbow effect" to even know what you were referring to. No rainbow effect whatsoever.

My screen is only maybe ten or twelve feet wide by six or eight feet in height, so maybe it isn't big enough to give off the rainbow effect. I have no clue.

That's already quite big for home projection if you ask me...

I guess, and I don't plan on going any bigger in the near future but I'd like a home theater that seats around twenty and is more of a personal theater than a home theater. Well, that shit is not going to happen unless I make seven figures a year, and even if I do make that amount of scratch within ten years, I'm sure if I have children they'll suck the wealth out of me.

And although I'm more than happy with my current set up, a man can dream.

Then again, I think the thing I hate most on the planet besides cancer is moving. Anytime you hear someone say "I'm moving!!!" the first thing that comes to your mind is "I hope to God they don't ask me to help". Even if you hire movers, the entire time you are hoping they don't break your shit or fuck up the house. Then again, I am looking into a few jobs in the mid-west. I'm so tired of having Summer, Summer, Spring, and Summer every year.

I wish I had a digital projector. My friends house I went to has a projector but we couldn't get the DVD player working....
So we took and 1 1/2 to figure out how to plug the ps2 in the damn thing...

and watched the kill bill movies 21 jump street Sherlock Holmes a game of shadows and more.
Every time I go there we marathon 3 or more movies and seasons. It's awesome.

Hours.
We couldn't use any of the remotes to use because they were dead and wouldn't recharge. The projector wouldn't recognize that the ps2 was there and we fiddled with it then argued and more..
It was stupid hard

Currently planning to make some custom DVD/CD shelves.

After price-checking all the supplies I'll need on-line, I'm guesstimating the whole thing (wood, primer, paint) will cost somewhere in the realm of $80 for the 2 shelves. I'll just need to borrow dad's truck to go pick the wood up (he'll probably want to come along anyway so he can eyeball the boards  ), and then use his saw to cut it.....Acutally, I might just let him cut it. I do have a tendency to be a klutz

My buddy down the road has a projector and no TV. I haven't personally seen it in action, but everybody claims it is amazing. I dunno, probably won't ever get to see, I've only been down to their house once.

In my day "Stupid Hard" meant "super epic". How things change.
