Sweeeeeeeeeeet.

THE POSSESSION

One word review:

Obnoxious.

A few more words:

If you are a fan of bullshit stories, annoying assholes, and shaky cam, this is the movie for you. It's not the worse movie of the year, but it is pretty damned close. Don't let the first ten minutes of the movie fool you, it gets super awful in a quick fast (although I'm not actually sure what a quick fast is).

Yeah, you should back read a bit on the movie thread, there is a wealth of knowledge awaiting you. We talked about the D&D sequel as early as a year ago.

If memory serves correct, Dumb And Dumber was supposed to start filming, wow, today or Monday as shooting was set for September. Carrey dropped out twice from the movie, once in 2011 and again in 2012. That doesn't say good things about the script, but it also doesn't say good things about Jim demanding a lot more money.

Carrey doesn't seem enthusiastic at about making this, and so far the plot (if they use the original script) is paper thin. Harold and Lloyd "get" a child. That's about it.

This movie is going to have to rely solely on the characters. I Love DUMB AND DUMBER, I'm just not sold on the fact a sequel could be any good, especially 20 years later after the first release.

I hope the movie turns out hilarious and I understand the appeal, but I don't think crowds will be storming the theater for this...If it does come to fruition.

Either Keaton is the guy who fires the asshole, or Keaton is the asshole. I'm fine with either one.
I could easily see him as the asshole guy. He did come across as a bit of an asshole in his Bruce Wayne portrayal.

Troma ia a low budget cheesy horror film maker that's been around a long time. I've only seen a few of their movies and quite some time ago, but they seemed to be in it for the fun. They make B movies on purpose.

I'm more in the it's whatever when it comes to the movie. If you want to see a movie related to the production of it, check out Overnight.

Last movie I saw was A History of Violence.

I think jim is very excited about it. He actually was the one who called the farraly brothers and said I want to make another one the world need's it. The reason he droped out was not for money or lack of being excited or even the script becouse it has not be written yet.

He said it was cause new line did not seem excited about it after the last few flops and it upset him cause he felt like everyone and everything needed to be on board to make a great movie.

They later talked and came to an agreement. That's what I read. As for the movie being good? Well we can only hope. I will say that im very hopeful and honestly think it will kick ass! The nostalgia alone on the set with jeff and jim and the farraly brothers will just fuel them and of course bring back memories of what was most likely the most exciting part of his career.

I have been waiting for a classic jim movie for ever and sorry but Bruce almighty or Fun with dick and jane did not make the cut for me.

That is possible, but from what I've heard that is far from true.

As with the GHOSTBUSTERS franchise, the audience is there but there is also too much pay posturing. They want to do it, if the price is right.

I've read two potential Ghostbusters scripts, not having a script is not an issue. Not everyone is on board. That is the issue.
