On a system, on the T.V. for me. That's what I grew up on, that's what's familiar and comfortable to me. The games look fantastic on the T.V. screen, I like a controller better than the keyboard/mouse set-up, and plenty of great games on consoles.

I prefer to play my games in the most lo-fi, bootlegged, unofficial, inauthentic manner possible.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

^^Pop that baby in a clone console and hook it up to a cheap Chinese TV through coax via a coathanger.garrett123 wrote:

Re: What is the best way to play Video games?
For fighters, strangely enough, my preferred method is to use a keyboard. I grew up in the arcades in the era of Street Fighter II, and then I mastered the home console SNES controls and came to prefer those, but now I feel like I have the most control with a keyboard. Granted, it can't just be any keyboard. I like the keys to be short and have quick spring back for maximum responsiveness. The game also has to allow keyboard mapping.
For a platform game though, I still prefer a console controller like the SNES and for shmups I prefer an arcade stick.
