i took it over to a local gamestop and pretended i wanted to check out one of the DS XLs. then i put it in and updated it in front of the guy working there

it worked out though. i had ketsui death label on the card to test it out and the guy was like "yeah i have all the region free 360 CAVE ports" so i let him play it

but there's already been another 3DS firmware update since then so i just have to wait for the Acekard team to release an update for the card before I can update the 3DS (otherwise i'll have to pay gamestop another visit)
What do you mean you updated it on a DSIXL?? :?
the only way to update the flash card is with a DS on an older firmware that can recognize the card.

Did anyone notice that when you're using one of these, the drawing of Pikachu is upside down?

Ah, true. If the 3DS doesn't recognize it, you can't update it. D'oh.

Yeah but, would you want to look at his ass when you open your 3DS or his face? :? No one looks at their 3DS when they're playing it though your hands would be fine to look at the whole body in the playing position.

He said upside down, not "backwards" - you wouldn't be looking at pikachu's buttcheeks if it were flipped 180 degrees :?

I just tried the netflix app on the 3DS for the first time. I'm surprised by how well integrated it is. I'm watching the season 4 finale of Breaking Bad and the quality is quite good and the video is playing smoothly.

My 3DS XL screen protectors finally came in. So perhaps I will get a 3DS XL soon. Though I'll have Project Diva on the Vita in a day or two, and I am addicted to Guild Wars 2. So I don't see me using it much. Uhh..

Same old mario with a new gimmick. Very short and easy game. Having said that I personally love the game because its what I want in a mario game for a handheld.
