What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

The Dark Knight rises.

I swear I have heard Bane's voice and style of talking some where else I just can't figure it whom it was. Can any one help?

Sean Connery's James Bond? That was the first thing that came to mind for me.

Actually I'd like to learn a bit more about that myself. I'm sure someone's asked Tom Hardy about it in an interview or something.

The Raid: Redemption. 8 savage beatings/10

Dear lord was that nuts. Its always nice to see a movie where all the characters start with assault weapons but somehow find a way to show that hands, feet, and door frames are far more deadly.

This was worth every nickel of that red box rental.

Hercule Poirot is a fictional Belgian Detective originally in books by Agatha Christie. So it is a mystery show, often murder mysteries.
And Suchet adds a dimension to the character that elegantly fleshes out the one in the books. ITV are filming the last Christie books thereby completing her bibliography..

Goldfinger. Bane sounds just like Goldfinger.

Bane's voice also sounds a bit like the cartoon version of Captain Hook, with bourbon though.

I think I've nailed the Bane voice, and my wife hates it.

You start with a Goldfinger voice, and every sentence and inflection is spoken like the wave on a bell curve. Start low, peak at the middle of the sentence, and come back down.

I don't know if y'all are interested in foreign films, but I'd like to give a tip of the hat to a French film titled The Intouchables.

Pretty spectacular, I saw it twice in the theaters.
