What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Changing most of smiled to tickeds:
- House was bought around noon today in cash.
- Gift card I won at work is going to be taxed at the same level as the yearly bonuses (roughly 30% I believe). Feels great to be appreciated.

Still, I can't quit you, Racketboy forums.
I agree its getting silly. First the NES is the Greatest Console Thread, now there is a PS2 vs Dreamcast and a Gamecube vs Wii Thread. In all three, the OP contributes NOTHING and just asks everyone else to do the research work.

On the plus side. I'm spending more time playing games than talking about them now.

Not much you can do about the briefcase full of unmarked, non-sequential bills.

What the balls? I know that they're technically supposed to do that, but it seems like it'd be nicer if they just gave you the gift card and you were responsible for putting it on your taxes.

She actually knew what parts you needed for that!?...

Awesome...
Yeah. She rules....after tracking down my want list on this site (and likely hearing me talk about how awesome it would be to have a modded Genesis), she tracked down an online guide for performing the modifications. Using the guide, she located and ordered each part necessary to upgrade my "High Definition Graphics" model Genesis.
Happy belated birthday and the wife sounds awesome as well to track down the parts for you.

Ticked: Work today. Sorry bosses (plural), you can't tell me everything you give me to do is 'top priority' and expect me to not have to make choices.

Smile: Drinking shitty wine, listening to Journey.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I don't know about the other guys here, but I don't really consider you a new member anymore.
If you count the time on my other account, I actually have been here at least a year.

Still, at times I feel like I should just shut the hell up and stay in my corner. Y'know, like I do in half of my classes at school.
