No way! I love your list! Really, it's one of the best out there. I love how you put Mega Man 2 right at the top. Finally, someone agrees with me that it is THE best game on the NES (well, in North America anyway).

I can't agree that Gimmick is the top (top 20 maybe... even 10?), but it's cool that you did that. It's too bad that it goes for $200 or so loose (and that I don't want it on the PS1 compilation disc).

I have to agree with you. The d-pad is a terrible thing that was finally superseded when the Playstation invented the analog joystick (which is the best system ever, by the way). Games like Mario, Mega Man, Castlevania, Contra and Zelda are very overrated. Mario is just a rip-off of Pitfall, Mega Man looks like a baby in a blue diaper that shoots iced milk, Castlevania is just a rip-off of Dracula and stupid music and bad control, Contra is the same as every other run and shoot game like Metal Slug and Gunstar Heroes, and Zelda is a total Ultima wannabe.

The sideways cartridge thing is so stupid. I like to see what game I am playing! The Atari and Sega systems are way better, because I can look at the game I am playing.

Also, the NES graphics aren't even good. Both the Sega, X-Box and Sony games look better!

It is true that the NES started gaming though. I have to give it credit for that. Especially with Mario 64, which was the first video game.

I have the Ultimate Super Advanced 32-bit CD NES 0002i Arcade Edition Slim. Now not only I can see my game tapes standing upright, but I can also use the new Keypad Glove Pro Turbo Wheel Force Model 2 Advantage! To bad the games are dumb. I still can't figure out how to make Double Dragon shoot fireballs.

Some games come on CASSETTES! And I don't mean like, people mistakenly calling cartridges "cassettes", I mean actual cassette tapes.

I once used a NES for a biology project. It was very dark and damp inside, but I have to agree that it's pretty awesome. The roaches love it. I tried to put in a game tape once and I heard a big crunch. Just watch out for that and you'll be fine.
