Which Version Is Best?

So I had the SNES version of Captain America and The Avengers. I got it thinking the SNES version would be better, because the majority of the time SNES multiplats are better than the Genesis ones (most being the key word, I know there are exceptions).

But when I played it, I was less than impressed. It was a far cry from the arcade version.
One thing I remember in particular about the SNES version that I didn't like was the controls seemed a tad delayed. So I traded it away. But lately I've been hearing praise about the game online, particularly the Genesis version.

Does anyone here know if the Genesis version is better than the SNES version? What makes it better? Is it closer to the awesome arcade version?

I have the SNES and Genesis versions and I prefer the SNES, it has much better sound and visuals, but control is bad on both, with the genesis seeming to run a smidge faster and being a little easier. They both are no where near as good as the arcade. You might also want to check out the NES version which is a totally different game, more of a platformer, but still kinda mediocre.

I've only done the NES and SNES, and I think the NES port stand very well against its 16 bit counterpart(s)

Dreamcast version hands down! With VGA output the visual look VERY good.

In Europe, yes, but not in the U.S.

Might be one reason that (supposedly) the ESRB has rated the game for PS3 release.

The Super Nintendo version was given to some company called Mindscape, and they did a poor port of the game. Play the Genesis version if you want something closer to the arcade game

Which of the three versions do you think are the best of these games:

I personally prefer Super Mario Allstars for the snes. It improves the visuals a bit and you also get to use a snes pad which I prefer over the NES PAD. Your thoughts?
