Looks like a torture device from 70 years ago. Are you suggesting I torture my DC into good behavior?Breetai wrote:Sure do! Don't worry. Dreamcasts are kinda kinky. They like some hot solder on them if you put it in just the right places.BoringSupreez wrote:Looks like a torture device from 70 years ago. Are you suggesting I torture my DC into good behavior?

I don't know if I can ever look at my dreamcast in the same way now because of the post above.

We were just talking about replacing the rechargeable battery on a Dreamcast on this forum a while back. I've seen my battery inside my DC, and I have never been able to find the same battery for sale anywhere retail.

Are the revs listed on the label? Or?CD AGES wrote:3 internal revision models were made for the Dreamcast during its run.
Rev 0: The best in terms build qualiy and rather uncommon model
Rev 1: The most common version of the console out there. Pretty reliable given the owners TLC
Rev 2: Final revision of the console, common but not as abundant and the rev1 unit. The internals are the most radical of all revisions and its build quality is of a... dubious reputation. Proceed with caution
