Best Donkey Kong Country title?

The strength aspect comes into play because some enemies require 2 hits from Diddy and only 1 hit from DK. And even more useful is when there's enemies that Diddy can't hurt at all, and DK can. It really messes up your rhythm in the game when Diddy goes flying off some invulnerable enemies while DK could just keep bouncing along.

The same comes into play with Dixie/Kiddy. Except, it seems more pronounced in DKC3. Kiddy can throw Dixie higher than vice versa. Also, there are a few times when you need to be able to run fast with a metal barrel, which only Kiddy can do.

I am glad to see other people showing love for the third installment of the series. It has been my favorite donkey kong country game for a while now. I honestly can't figure out why though. I feel that it gives off more of an adventurous tone than the other donkey kong games. While the music is noticeably inferior to the previous two games, the colorful appearance and more creativity in level design more than makes up for that.

I have to agree with not liking Donkey Kong 64. I honestly hated it to be honest aha. I did have fun with the final fight with King K Rool though.

I bought the game, then sold it after playing it. It just felt like a big collect-a-thon. The challenging platforming was gone, which was the major hook of the DKC series, IMO.

The Wii version would rate higher for me than DKC3 if it wasn't for the damn shaking of the Wii remote that actually interferes with gameplay. Bah.

I picked up DKL3 for Game Boy this weekend, and I'm actually very impressed by the game, and finding it very enjoyable. It's not as good as the console versions, but it's definitely worth a play.

i did have a bit more fun with dkc 2 because it has more of plot to it. dont get me wrong, the first one's amazing, but its story was retarted. a crocodile stole your bananas. why does a crocodile want bananas.
