How's your score looking? Stage 5 mid-boss is incredibly easy, BTW. If you are having trouble just watch a replay.

Final boss is slightly more difficult.

My last score was 181,870,690.

I don't understand the scoring system (I guess it's picking up those coin looking things?). I really just want to beat it first and focus on trying to better my score later.

... I'm not having too much trouble with stage 5 from what I've played. It's more the end part of stage 4 right before the boss (and the stage 4 boss isn't that bad).

If you know how to score the game will be easier. The game gives out extends like crazy. Should have 6 - 8 lives going into stage 5. Maybe more if you never die.

Now just do the same with Bronx and your score will be much higher. The balance between pilots/ships could be better.

Is the score you get related to the stage of MEFA2 you use when you destory an enemy using MEFA2?
