Now, change yr avatar from the pile-driving shark to the pic of you holding the carts / grinning, and the circle is complete.

I was looking for the sega 6 pak on the rarity guide someone linked me too and I couldn't find it.
Off the top of my head it has:
Streets of rage
Sonic 1
Super hang on
Golden axe
Bejeweled I think
And idk the other one

One of my favorite moments on this site. Those look to be in superb condition (minus the back panels missing) and obviously still working. To have a pair...just...
Amazing.
The back panels are both in my possession. In that rfgen link you'll notice a picture of the wiring diagram. That is from the panel. I just took them off for now so I can tinker around inside for a bit. I do need to replace the locks in them though.
Thanks for all the other kind words guys!!

Bejeweled? haha, you mean Columns? And how could you forget Revenge of Shinobi?
The 6 Pak is literally one of the most common Genesis carts out there. If you are going to post in this thread, make sure what you are posting is something that is actually hard to find. If you are not sure... then it's probably not rare.

Re: What's the rarest game you own?
I don't have anything too extremely rare but I'll post a few for each console. Handhelds not included because I'm not entirely certain about those.
Atari: Stargate possibly?
NES: Kickle Cubicle or Metal Storm maybe.
Genesis: M.U.S.H.A., Gunstar Heroes and other uncommon but not terribly expensive shmups.
SNES: Super Turrican 2, Mega Man X2, Metal Warriors.
Playstation: Wing Commander III and IV. Not valuable but rather uncommon. Also black label Symphony of the Night, black label Xenogears and both Mega Man Legends games but no Tron Bonne.
N64: Nothing worth mentioning.
Dreamcast: Mars Matrix, Bangai-O, Tech Romancer, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, some other stuff.
Gamecube: Ikaruga and I don't know.

Re: What's the rarest game you own?
I'm half tempted to start a thread with the EXACT same title, but don't want to be a jerk to Boring Supreez, not his fault.
Please listen. If there are 10+ copies of the game you are going to post about owning - currently listed on ebay...STOP! It is not rare.
These threads can be so much fun and good reads when people actually post "rare and uncommon items", take pictures, explain how they found it, and what they can tell us about its rarity.
Please, please, please do not post a game that says it sold a million copies right on the label

Re: What's the rarest game you own?
Well the title of the thread is "What's the rarest game you own?" If you only own Super Mario Bros. then it would be the rarest game you own, no? If the title was "Rare games that you own" it would be a different context.
Even the thread starter's pick isn't a terribly rare, just in high demand, game.
I guess the difference is people who think a game is rare but it's not and people who understand the game isn't rare but post it anyway because it's all they've got.

Re: What's the rarest game you own?
There is nothing that says you have to make a post.
Think about what you are adding to the forum when posting (not you in particular, but "you" as a racketboy member). If someone posts that they own Super Mario Bros - NES, what does that add to the forum or discussion?
Look at crabmaster2000's post. That is RARE. That was a fun read, great story, and great pics.
In the analogy you just gave, you said if you only own one game, then that is the rarest game you own. Touche'. You listed about 10 games. Of which a few are moderately rare, but most are not. Marvel v Capcom 2 is one of the best selling fighting games of all time. A black label game only is listed as black label in regard to it now have a green label...which means what? The black label game sold "hundreds of thousands / millions of copies.
People often think they must make a post. You don't. Make a post that counts, particularly in a thread like this, where people enjoy seeing new things. As has been said many times, if you want to list things you own, that is great, however list them in the appropriate area - ie, your dedicated game room thread.
