I need to see XXX again. Either it's awful as I remember, or after time it's become awfully good. I think there's a scene with VD (what an unfortunate acronym) skiing via green screen, then shooting back to stock footage of extreme skiing. Stuff like that may be hilarious now.
Don't forget Danny Trejo as generic Mexican thug #47 brandishing a machete and talking about cutting peoples' Achilles tendons.
Its funny that this was supposed to be the james bond for the new generation.

Never saw this but i almost feel like i have since so many students have chosen it for their film analysis essays in the past.
Most seem to make note of the number of "liberties" the script takes.

I always make the assumption that there are going to be a ton of "liberties" any time I see or hear the line, "Based on a True Story...."

Oh yeah,
I'm waiting for the movie where they promote it by saying.
"We totally made this shit up" and then later we find out its completely true.

Will Smith has been awarded a job and a scholarship to Princeton by solving a Rubix Cube.
I love how FARGO starts out with "Based on a True Story" just to reel you in as the entire story is fiction.
