I like how, despite the fact he's gone to a different school for years, and we hardly talk anymore, I still have the same great friend from first grade. We're going to start hanging out again, no doubt. This guy is like my brother. He had to leave my school due to some rough circumstances with his mother, that get brought up whenever I mention him.... it really sucks for him, and I can't help but feel bad.

I've read one or two of these. The one I read about the Rugrats was pretty dark.

It's been a year this month since I last found a bargain on Craigslist. I really have no idea why it's gone so downhill. And lately, Goodwill's been pricing their console games at market value. I don't go to thrift stores to pay Ebay prices, and I guess most other people don't either because now the games sometimes take months to sell when they used to last less than a week. Only Salvation Army still has the occasional deal, and having worked there before I happen to know that donations are way down this year, meaning new stock comes in at a slower pace than usual.

Wow, mark your calendar. On 8/22/2012 Luke did not state his opinion (kind of).

A hot news anchor lady caught me going to my mail box and asked about the recent murder in my neighborhood and the community watch.

I stated "The community watch is great, but ultimately it is the responsibility of the resident to protect themselves and their family. I am disappointed in the Greenville Police Department for not releasing facts about how homes are being targeted, and how the burglars are breaking in. Seems counter intuitive to the goal 'protect and serve'."

She responded "I have to get you on camera".

My reply, "Sorry, but I'm not having a good hair day and the Cubs are about to come on".

The amount of power girls with pretty eyes have over me is scary. It seems pretty creepy knowing what they can get me to do. Not to say I'd do anything too dumb, but lets say the level where they could get me to buy them stuff. Not diamonds or cars, but something less expensive... yeesh.

Focus on the person instead of the looks... you'll see their power dissipate pretty quick in most cases.
