I think the "you tapped out" chants were louder in the arena. I picked up on it watching live but thought it was just a smaller group.

One of my favorite tweets from last night was "We'd like to wish Mr. Durst the best in his future endeavors"
I read Durst got booed out of the building too.

Re: The Wrestling Thread
Yeah, that's not a good idea in a PG friendly WWE. Maybe you can do that at some heavy metal concert but not on a WWE pay per view. I don't think even Steve Austin could get away with that now. It was such a dumb thing for Fred Durst to doretrosportsgamer wrote:One of my favorite tweets from last night was "We'd like to wish Mr. Durst the best in his future endeavors"

Kudos to WWE, I think they actually managed to salvage Lesnar's character. Granted, they did some permanent long term damage that can't be undone prior to his Summerslam match, but a submission victory over Triple H and the excellent follow up on Raw makes him a heel people can take seriously again. Heyman is so damn good on the mic too. He really did a great job putting Brock's victory over. I could still see a Lesnar/Taker Mania match if they continue to build him up.

Re: The Wrestling Thread
Lesnar/Taker, in my opinion, is best left in 2002. Especially with Lesnar's contract running out and even worse (for him) - a NY smarky venue. There wouldn't be any drama and Taker would be another year older. Just feels disastrous (but I do think they'll do it).

I'm not too keen on it myself, but I hear people keep talking about it all the time like it's set in stone that it's gonna happenretrosportsgamer wrote:Lesnar/Taker, in my opinion, is best left in 2002. He got escorted out for flipping off the camera. That's f-ing ridiculous!

Re: The Wrestling Thread
I've never really understood this whole thing with flipping the middle finger to the camera or to the fans. Is that supposed to be cool? I was always under the impression that flipping someone the bird meant you were telling them to f*** off. Seems stupid to me, it's not something I would ever do

Re: The Wrestling Thread
Honestly, I want Taker to just hang it up. His streak should just stay in place. You'd need an up and coming young guy that could really be a hulk hogan to his andre the giant as it were.retrosportsgamer wrote:Lesnar/Taker, in my opinion, is best left in 2002. Lesnar is a merc at the end of the day, letting him have something like that would be beyond disgraceful.
