Smile: Had a nice summer trip with my family to the Smokie Mountains. Five days wasn't long enough and spent 3 of those days driving :/ ...and still managed to spend way too much money.

Ticked: After a 19-hour drive (left Gatlinburg, TN at 0900am on SAT and got home at 3AM SUN in Northern, MN) I am wishing I took off one more day from work - really don't want to go back tomorrow.

Smile 2: Got over it and made the most of today, including picking up a mattress for our 4yo and put up the final rails on the bunkbed that doesn't seem to want to be "finished".

Still need to add one more ladder rail, but then...I think we're set. (We put the new mattress in after the pics below, so it now has both.)

Pissed: Was doing some late night laundry last night and my washer flooded somehow. My utility room is upstairs for some reason, so I have soaked carpeting and leaking ceilings. I got little sleep last night trying to clean up, and now I get to go through the process of getting it all fixed and dealing with insurance company.

To top it off, I also have to buy a new washer :x

Scott and Denzel had to crank out a few movies, and I don't think either were truly happy with UNSTOPPABLE or PELHAM 123, but had to make them under studio contract.

Smile: I bought new shorts this weekend and the pair I have on today are really light, comfy, and most importantly, cool.

Sometimes it is the little things.
