I will be picking up an xl for sure, I had been planning on getting a second one for my fiance since I got mine at launch, and that waiting has paid off. I wish we got a better selection of colors though, I guess red it is since I have the aqua blue 3ds.

New 3DS XL color (for Japan). It's ugly; no doubt about it.

It's cute. I wouldn't buy one, but I don't mind it.

I guess I just find eye-stabbing yellow to be unappealing.

Anyone use a flash card for DS games on their 3DS? Any recommendations? I was thinking about the DStwo because of GBA emulation but I dunno... (mainly because I'm finally getting ready to upgrade from my DSlite).
 (FC, AVFC, NES, SFC x2, SNES, N64, GC x2, Wii x2)*(G&W x7, GB, GBpocket, GBASP, DS-L x2)
(GEN, SS x3, DC x3)*(PCE-Duo)*(Xbox:500GB)*(NGCDZ, NGPC)*(PS1, PStwo, PS3:160GB, PSP.3K)

The official R4 3DS card plays DS games just fine. Just not 3DS games. I forget the exact name. Let me check..

No clue about GBA emulation or any other emulation on the 3DS.

Oh that's right... 3DS is gonna have frequent firmware updates... Maybe I should just get a DSiXL instead. The 3DS would be so much more convenient though. :?

I saw the DSTwo that has a GBA emulator... Don't know if it's gotten any better though.

I'm using an Acekard on the 3DS
much cheaper than the DStwo.

however when i got it it wasn't recognized so i had to update it...

i took it over to a local gamestop and pretended i wanted to check out one of the DS XLs. then i put it in and updated it in front of the guy working there

it worked out though. i had ketsui death label on the card to test it out and the guy was like "yeah i have all the region free 360 CAVE ports" so i let him play it

but there's already been another 3DS firmware update since then so i just have to wait for the Acekard team to release an update for the card before I can update the 3DS (otherwise i'll have to pay gamestop another visit)
