Innovation GBA Halo Light
Re: Innovation GBA Halo Light
The guy sells ready-modded systems as well as screens (with cable purchase only). This sums up my feelings about the Ninja light pretty well, but different strokes for different folks, it might suit your needs.

That review was for the old version that didn't have the AR film I think. The newer version is better IIRC.

The ebay link is the first version from what I'm reading of the details. The revised version is better according to reviews, but you had to deal with bubbles from the silicon, and seems like you didn't like much either
I'm interested though, how was the final product, mixing both afterburner AR film and halo light? Is it comparable to the afterburner?

Re: Innovation GBA Halo Light
I'm pretty sure that was an older version also. Did you see the date on my post? I think the one on eBay now is different.
With an AR film the Halo light is just like the Afterburner

I bought the halo light off eBay about the time of your post (Halfway through August), received it yesterday, and i'm very unhappy with it, it darkens the screen (Yes, it's possible!), and requires setting the light to maximum intensity to get any appreciable improvement, still doesn't hold a candle (Ooh funny!

So i'll see about putting the original screen cover back onto my trusty GBA, and looking into some other, more reliable way to get a brighter screen, or i'll cram my fingers around my SP.

I also got tricked into buying one of these. While it doesn't compare to an SP at all I didn't find it THAT bad. It made it playable in a dark room at least. I'm also a fan of wacky accessories though.
With bright colorful games it was pretty decent, but anything with dark palettes was pretty hard on the eyes I must admit.
