Discjuggler problem
Discjuggler problem
I was using Discjuggler to burn an image of Beats of Rage that i grabbed off the, Senile Team website. when i clicked, "start" to begin the burning process, i got a warning that popped up. Something to the extent of, "the structure of the CD isnt appropriate....would you like Discjuggler to try and fix it?" I clicked yes, and the burn finished, but the Disc is read in my dreamcast as a music CD. I have never gotten this message before. Ive tried a couple CDs now and they all get the same message and all fail. Any ideas?
You had two choices. You picked the wrong one and it didn't work. You gave up and asked for help on a forum. Don't you think that if the Senile Team put together a bad image that DJ has to fix, they'd have said something? Did it not cross your mind that your are burning a game with an intentionally uncommon and seemingly broken structure because it's supposed to trick the Dreamcast into accepting it?

That's odd, but I think Mozgus is right. I've never had that problem, even though I have burned selfbooting homebrew games before.

One of the updates to DJ introduced this structure checking feature. Don't know which version exactly. I just remember this little notification popping up on all my games I was burning past a certain date. Anyways, like I said, people need to remember that the Dreamcast selfboot method is basically a hardware exploit which uses a seemingly broken disc structure. That's actually a very false way of putting it, but for simplicity's sake, we'll go with that. Don't let DJ modify your image for you.The Apprentice wrote:That's odd, but I think Mozgus is right.
