Where do they sell $50k houses? I am interested.
I meant $50k "into a house", such as an expansion, new shelving, counter tops, general improvements.

That in mind, you can find foreclosed houses for $50k in the States.

I've had 30-35 cars in the last 5 years. I know cars :)

From a shitty ass ford focus...to lifted trucks, sports cars, lowered trucks, sclass benzes
I am into cars as well, but just as a hunch, I don't think this community will be overly impressed by how many or how nice of cars you've had...

My house in Florida cost $60,000, and it was 4 bedroom 2 bath 2500 square feet on 2 acres, and only needed paint .

Good deals can be found when you know people.

Why would you prefer BMW over Audi or Mercedes? From people's experience here BMW is the car that usually is faulty and has probably the least of resale value. Price will probably drop in half after 2 years use and I am talking about like $100k ones.

We also have no Acura brand here, its just called Honda.

btw, for any one wondering. Mercedes, Audi, Lexus and whatever else is not consider 60yr old+ expensive luxury car. Entry models like 3 series, C class, Lexus IS, are considered regular cars. By the time you resell it, you will probably lose around $21k on it, over 6-7 years of use that is not a lot.

Corolla's , Honda's , Ford Fiesta those are considered cheap cars.

When I visited the Middle East in my Navy days, I saw Mercedes used by the local police. No kidding, they were painted a flat olive green like army vehicles.

If the high maintenance costs are a concern, maybe go with a more sensible priced car? You could get a decent higher end Toyota, Nissan or Honda.

The "value" of a new car drops almost in half as soon as you drive it off the lot.

No offense, but there really isn't much difference in a "cheap" car and a "luxury" car other than the person who purchases it. It's not like getting a good or bad haircut. It's all the same parts, some people will pay more for a logo.

Every "feature" is a way to get you back in the garage. Do manual roll down windows break? I don't know, never heard of it happening. Do power windows break? All the time, and a lot stick.

That said, get what YOU want. It's YOUR car. Take test drives, have some fun with it.
