I have a USA NTSC Saturn running on a USA NTSC television. Wanting to get the best video signal possible from my Saturn, I recently purchased this SCART cable. I hooked it up to a SCART to HDMI converter box, which then hooked into my TV. Everything works great except the SCART's output itself. It's a garbled black/white and registers as PAL on the converter box's on-screen display. Apparently this cable wasn't repurposed for an NTSC signal.
Here's my question (finally, right?). Would this NTSC cable sold by retro_console_accessories solve my problem? I would've picked this one up before, but the seller didn't have any available when I was previously looking. Do you guys think this modded cable will give me the 60Hz signal my TV is looking for?
If that's not the answer, has anyone tried or had luck with the following console mod?
Method 1 or Method 2
...basically the same thing, though.
Ideally, I'd buy the cable before modding the circuit board. Which is the best option? Or, rather, which option works?

I use a cable similar to this with my US Saturn: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sega-Saturn-RGB ... 4798wt_734
I chose to use a seperately audio break-out box, rather than have the RCA connectors split off the cable like the item you linked.

I convert to component though with this unit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SEGA-SCART-to-R ... 1643wt_922

Cool, that looks like the same cable I linked to. So, it works fine with your USA Saturn + TV? I'll go ahead and pick that one up if it does.
I actually have that breakout box when I tried to hook the Saturn up with component video (my TV didn't support 240p over component, it turns out). Looks like this will turn out well.

It works perfectly on my 60" Pioneer KURO.
I also use SCART on my Sega Genesis / CD.

Awesome. Thanks for confirming! I'll give this one a shot and update the thread later.

I also have the same setup as RedRaider. Need one for my genesis too.
It's time to kick a$$ and chew bubble gum...and I'm all out of gum.

That retro_console_accessories cable works fine with my Saturn.
