What was the last movie you've seen?

What the...
In my top 3 movies of 2012. So refreshing.

THE EXPENDABLES 2

Spoiler free:
I really enjoyed the first installment, lots of people didn't. EX2 is more of the same, a bit better. Of course not all characters share the same amount of screen time, but more Arnold and Bruno in this sequel. The sex plane makes an appearance, so I was comforted by that.

I'm a sucker for these movies and can't wait for Expendables 3, which rumors say is already happening (and Clint Eastwood may be involved).

^Love film festivals. Probably the only way to see Phoenix Wright in the states. No chance they're going to have a US theatrical release, and I'm doubtful we'll get a US dvd release.

Moving on.

The new UNIVERSAL SOLDIER looks MARINE-esque awfully bad good. Van Damme has actually been getting some good work lately, and his, um "acting" has really improved as of late. Yes, that doesn't say much, but he's been a pretty solid baddy lately.

edit* Anyone planning on seeing PREMIUM RUSH on opening night? The movie seems so, odd. It was shot years ago and looks like a made for tv movie from the early 90's. Yet, I really want to see this movie asap.

I remember when it was called Quicksilver, with Kevin Bacon.***

***Ive never seen either movie, but they both apparently involve bike messengers so I made an assumption for comedic purposes.

My Perestroika

Nothing here that proved to be new knowledge to this humble viewer, but all the same it was interesting to get to hear the stories of those five schoolmates who went through the post-USSR transformation and how it has impacted their lives.

Sounds good.

I expect a movie with lots of explosions and one liners.

Give me this, and I'll be happy.

I have a fundamental issue with anything that attempts to make bike messengers exciting.

You'll be more than happy. I hate to say "if you loved THE EXPENDABLES, you'll love THE EXPENDABLES 2", but that's kind of how it is. The great news is that it is better, and I believe the third installment will be even better.

Forget the popcorn and soda, bring some beef jerky and a flask to EX2.

Will Smith made walking while confused exciting in ENEMY OF THE STATE. I think JGL can follow suit, but I get your point. Still, looking forward to seeing this.
