Crayons?
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I pronounce that word like "crowns" unless I am being self-conscious and then I pronounce it like "creigh-yow-nz", complete with three syllables.harper wrote:Crayons?

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
hmmm.......
Its tough being a new person and finding your place. And seeing SamuraiMegas reminds me of AmericanMuffin from a few months back.
Which brings me to the question.
"What is a Forum?"
A place for people to get together. In a videogame forum you talk games. In a car fourm you talk autos. And so on.
Most have certain unspoken rules, some are strictly private and some are monkey filled shit throwing trolling hell holes!
And all of those newbie people who want to find their place in the Net (just like in real life). Some fit right in, some have to lurk and some need to do strange things to fit in. Yeah its a fitting in/popularity thing.
But what works in one forum might not work in another. But new people, especially teens go with what they know. Which may not always be a good thing.
Most of us have outgrown that phase. MOST OF US. Some of us act one way in one site and totally different in another.
We were all 14 once too. But when most of us we were 14 the internet didn't truly exist.
All that gamefaqs/4chan/fourm stuff where kids can be as chatty/dorky/evil/whorish/ as they want to be didn't exist for us.
Scratch that, it did exist. But in our garages/schoolyards/parks/liquorstore parking lots. We were crude and crass with our friends, enjoying the cameraderie.
But I guess now we have that in digital form. Its as easy as finding that happy place for you online.
Find your happy place. It could be here, or somewhere else.
Mind the rules (if there is any), dont feed the trolls, lurk more, and enjoy the stay.
ummmm..... /rant

I post alot because look at my sig. The biggest thing I have done all summer was go to my friends house for the night and watch movies and play games. My life has been horribly dull for like 6 months now.
