You should have bought it guv'nuh...it's a far better film than Conan and one of the all-time greats.

Just got back from The Campaign. Farell plays a similar character to Talledega Nights and Anchorman, just with a new profession. Zach (fuck if I'm going to try and spell his last name) is mostly an everyman who's suddenly been thrown into politics and reacts as you would expect until he gets the assistance of a professional campaign manager. The only "this is supposed to be funny" thing Zach does is the trouble with the door you might remember from the trailer. Most of the humor comes from the absurdities of trying to win an election and Will Farell being Will Farell.

I am in the process of watching Abraham Lincoln Vs. Zombies. Yet another 'mockbuster' by The Asylum. This one is actually pretty neat.

Good, but I've seen better. It's also very short (the better part of 50 minutes).

I ordered it dirt cheap from Amazon, who's apparently liquidating their Central Park Media stock, which is why I also got this box set for $20 and it comes with the MD Geist duology, the Genocyber series, Cybernetic Guardian and the soundtrack to MD Geist and Genocyber.

Also recently ordered a copy of Mysterious Skin, shortly after ordering the book.

I was surprised at how unlikeable they made Will. Was also pleased that there weren't a lot of "people from the South are stupid" jokes. The implication was there, but very little.

But yeah, not too much to say about THE CAMPAIGN other than it delivers with the laughs.

You had been warned.

I wouldn't give it a zero though.

I've yet to see a movie that deserves a 0 on a numbered scale. I've seen quite a few 1s, but never a 0. I'm not even sure that you can make a movie that deserves a 0.

I'd say quite a few movies riffed by Mystery Science Theater 3000 that deserve a 0. Hell, I'd argue that there are a couple that they covered that deserve a -1.

I dare anyone to find something redeemable about Monster A Go-Go that would make it deserving of a 1.

The movie was released. I see that as enough to give it a one.

I see a zero as the thing being non existant. I get putting a zero in order to make a point or some such, but I just don't see it really.
