Games Acquired 2012

January : 74 (added) / 24 (sold or traded away)
February: (added) 18 / 1 (sold or traded away)
March: 34 (added)/0 (sold or traded away)

April: 6 (added)/ 0 (sold or traded away)
May: 17 (added) / 1 (sold or traded away)
June: 9 (added) / 2 (sold or traded away) [mid-year stats here too]

July: 41 (added)/ 31 (sold or traded away)

I'm not expecting to buy any more games tomorrow (though I do have a nice assortment of 7800 games coming in later this week), so this will be it for July. Turned out to be the second-most acquisitions in a month so far this year, but getting rid of a bunch of stuff helped it seem a little less daunting on the final balance sheet. More than half came from that killer Steam summer sale, and I bought more games in July than I had for the last three months combined.

Mortal Kombat
Mod Nation Racers: Road Trip

PS3:
HOTD3
Dyad
Sports Champions

So, for this year...

Witcher 2
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Dead Space
Portal 2
Fallout 3:GOTY
COD: Modern Warfare
Oblivion

The last seven came in a deal for 10 bucks each, so I felt that was a pretty good deal. I'll sell COD and Oblivion, because I don't really want them. Fallout 3... the last time I played it, it depressed me. But I'm going to be so stupid and wacky I can't help but laugh. Racist Abe Lincoln with a green beard/mohawk that hates ghouls? I think yes.

Just got Crazy Taxi for Dreamcast and Test Drive 5 for PS1 for $3.99 a piece at Goodwill, both of them complete. But an even better find was Metallica: And Justice For All and Ride the Lightning both for $3.99 a piece as well! And they were also complete and in excellent condition. Image(Goodwill puts PC games, PS1 games, and Dreamcast games in with the CDs and charge the same price.)

Picked these up while I was in Sacramento to see Iron Maiden (which by the way was freaking amazing! I'm gonna post about it in the metal thread), at an awesome little store called "Fair Game". There was so much more I wanted, but the wife was with me so I couldn't go nuts:

These were more expensive than I anticipated when I was considering them for my collection. I hope they are worth it. Going to try the first game once I complete Legend of Dragoon.
Selling half my NES/SNES/PS1 collection (ending Dec 1):
