Best storage system for lots of GB games?

Post by mustardseed »

My Gameboy collection has grown quite a bit over the years. I find myself regularly playing them, but I've never found a good and easy storage system to easily find my games. They're mostly put in a carrying case bag that I then have to dig through. What do you guys use for your Gameboy collections?

I'm no fan of the baseball card page method, those pages aren't very strong especially when its not for something that is supposed to fit.

I've got mine in Rubbermaid plastic tote bins, the really small ones. It'll hold a lot of games in cases. I got a ton so I use two of them. It isn't perfect for displaying them but it keeps them managed and easy to store. :D

Yeah, I don't think the trading card sleeves are particularly strong. But CRT recommended sleeves that hold coins. I'm betting they're a little stronger due to the weight of coins versus trading cards.

Wow, I like the card page idea. I just went and bought myself some of those UltraPro pages and binder. Should be getting them both in a few days!

I use the baseball card pages method. The trick is to not use the tradition 9-pocket sleeves, but rather the ones meant for the more unorthodox longer cards, with 6-pockets:

They fit fine. And it makes it very convenient to flip through your collection. I use em for the original GB and GBC cards, GBA carts, and Neo Geo Pocket Color cards.

Hmm, I may look in to those. I have some spare huge binders so I should be able to get them all in.
