The first time I loaded that game up in SNES9x I couldn't believe I was actually hearing voices in an SNES game. That was pretty impressive.Star Ocean for SNES

kirby's dreamland 3 (last third party game i believe) and dkc2 both were very vibrant and excellent games. DKC3 cameout latter but it just didn't look as good to me than dkc 2, it also was not nearly as fun.
Don't that just look oh so tasty?

Funny you should bring that up because conker is the perfect example for you. Arguably the best looking game for the system and late in its lifespan.RackGaki wrote: There are the generally overlooked titles on the Xbox like Conker, JSRF, Otogi, Panzer Dragoon and Phantom Dust, but sadly, this system was even robbed of it's swan song...

Yeah it's pretty crazy. At one point, you had to have special decrypted graphics packs in the same folder as the rom just to get the game to work. Same thing for Far East of Eden Zero.tbeeghly wrote:The first time I loaded that game up in SNES9x I couldn't believe I was actually hearing voices in an SNES game. That was probably due to the graphics decompression chip Nintendo built into the cartridge. Only two games were supposed to have it, but I can't find any info on whether Far East of Eden Zero had anything special build into it.Flak Beard wrote:Yeah it's pretty crazy. Twilight Princess for the Gamecube. That was a swan song and a half!

By golly, you've found one! I would put Conker up there with the other titles I mentioned, and it did come out in June 2005.AwesomeMonstar wrote:Funny you should bring that up because conker is the perfect example for you.
