Met with some friends for brunch and tossed back a bloody Mary.

It was served with no celery, but with a huge ass wedge of lime which was removed immediately. It's not that unusual, but the waitress was taken back a bit when I asked for a dill pickle wedge for my cocktail. Pickles and bloody Marys make a great pair (if you like pickles of course).

Diet Snapple instant singles powder mixed with tap water, peach flavor. Tastes surprisingly good, much better than the Lipton equivalent.

Purchased Crown Royal for a friend of mine as an unbirthday gift, and while at the liquor store picked up two imported bottles of Japanese vodka infused with sake. One blue, one green. The difference? No clue as of yet.

A good friend gifted me some fine lapsang souchong. A good friend indeed. This makes for a great autumn tea.
