Sorry, been getting buried sending out job applications and sorting through IRL stuff. I have a lot of material here, now. I may actually ask one of the PCE-FX members who is the source of a lot of this data to co-rework this with me, since he has a lot of the critical data recorded.

Cool -- thanks!
Best of success on the IRL job stuff though :)

OK, I'm basically just gonna rework the article. I'm also not going to put price ranges, because prices change so much over time. Instead, at the suggestion of the PCE community, I'm going to do a $, $$, $$$ type approach. As prices rise or change on the whole, individual titles are unlikely to change position much in the grand scheme of things. A title that $ relative to the pool of available titles may get more expensive, but it is likely the other standout $ games will also increase in price with it.

I have become convinced that issuing a concrete price range can set up false expectations.

Also messaged a potential co-author/data source to see what level or involvement or non-involvement he would like to have. Will be re-evaluating which titles within that pricing data are really worth getting.

Some in the PCE community have suggested that since JPN units are so much more common it would be more appropriate to do a PCE/TG combined article, but I'm a little worried about too many data points. Still, I may consider, at a later time, going that route. As it stands, this will remain for the US purists, and I'll simply include a note that the JPN versions are likely to be the same price or more affordable, even if purchased from overseas with shipping, and I may note which games are just as accessible in Japanese.

I at least have buy-in to use his data for the article, for which I will give him credit. That said, I'm staring down the possibility of a new job and a move to a neighboring state, so I do not have an ETA on this, only the plan for going forward.

Best of luck there, marurun.

I'm apparently a tool. I just haven't felt up to this. I'm not really into the scene much at this point, and I'm not really a buyer on the market right now. Instead of being stubborn and insisting I'm the right person for this and not doing it, I'm going to be responsible and abdicate to someone who has the time and interest. This article was originally one of my pets, but I've let possessiveness take over.

Sorry, folks. I've been a road-block to progress in this case.
