Congrats -- I almost announced it when I saw you mentioned it on Twitter, but I figured I'd hold off

Thanks for the congrats everyone...
We finally are home and the first thing that happens is the wife takes a long deserved nap and I find myself cleaning my first dirty diaper ever... but that's not all...
Little did I know that babies are known for re-relieving themselves in mid diaper change... I did not wake my wife up, in fact she is still sleeping, but I await her to grade my diaper changing skills...

Yes, congratulations. Sounds like baby, mom, and dad are healthy and happy. Here's hoping for many years of the same!SpaceBooger wrote:Little did I know that babies are known for re-relieving themselves in mid diaper change... That's funny about the diaper change. I got peed on many a time too. We cloth diapered our little rascals and quickly learned to keep a spare liner handy to catch that extra spray.

We are doing the cloth diaper thing too, but the wife wants to wait a month until we have a more solid flow... she is a modern day "green" hippie. No drugs during and after labor, she makes all of our cleaning supplies out of vinegar and other stuff, I routed all of our downspouts into a "rain barrel" that has a hose that leads to our little inner city garden so that we don't waste water... the list could continue... but yes we are all healthy, happy, and sleepy.xraydash wrote:Yes, congratulations. Wait a second- that's my wife you described! Except she'd kick your ass if you called her a damn "hippie."SpaceBooger wrote:We are doing the cloth diaper thing too, but the wife wants to wait a month until we have a more solid flow... she is a modern day "green" hippie.
