Weird Dreamcast SCART problem

Ok, this is weird and maybe I'm just being unlucky...

Do you remember this thread I created? Well basically my RGB SCART I had had for a couple of years died and the screen was displaying black with a bit of white (check the thread for pictures).

I ordered a new RGB SCART and it worked fine until I tried my Dreamcast on Wednesday (so it worked for just over a month and a half) and it started up, flickered and then did the EXACT SAME THING.

So ok, "annoying as hell" I thought, "but I'll just order another one". So my new SCART comes this morning, brand new. I plug it in and guess what? IT'S NOT FREAKING WORKING! It started up, flickered and then did the EXACT SAME THING again.

I have an AV composite cable which works fine, I have two Dreamcasts, two TVs, 3 SCART cables now and an AV composite. Whatever combination I try, the SCARTs all have the same result. The AV works though.

Are the official Dreamcast SCARTs just really, really shitty? Or am I really, really unlucky? I haven't had any issues with the SCARTs for my other consoles.

Update: It's now done the same thing to the Megadrive! Seriously, it's got to be something to do with the TV or SCART multibox thingy we have, right? I mean what the hell? Have you ever heard of a SCART box or TV causing SCART cables or the console to break??

I think it's more likely that your SCART switchbox is at fault. Have you plugged your SCART cables directly into your TV yet?

Yeah I gave that a try and neither the Dreamcast or Megadrive work. Like I said before too, I tried on my other TV as well and that didn't work. I now have multiple consoles, multiple SCART leads, and something seems to be either breaking the leads or frying something in the consoles so they won't output RGB SCART. Is that even possible? It's the most random thing I've ever come across.
