^Yeah I was talking about the $50> prices and the general state of sega saturn games and accessories. Although a few games are beginning to come down, like guardian heroes.

Saturn S-Video cables?
I dig out my Saturn recently and my cables are toast. Looking around Saturn S-Video cables seem to be non existent or insanely price now. Anybody know a place to get one reasonably priced?

Merged into recent similar thread. I'd backtrack and read these posts.

Buuuuut, how is it toast? If the Saturn end is ok, the other end stuff and all the cable in the middle can be replaced.

Something leaked on the cable eating away much of it. The saturn connection is corroded beyond repair. All I have is a RF cable now. I have been told the RF cable does not use enough pins, otherwise I would just splice it into a regular S-Video cable I have.

If you can solder it's really easy to just add an s-video jack to the saturn. If you read back a couple pages, I posted a link to the A/V pinout.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.

Re: Saturn S-video cable
another option would be to get a scart cable which seem to be pretty cheap at about $10 and a scart to component or vga adaptor. i think you can even get a scart to hdmi one but last i checked those were pretty pricey
